FALIB®-P&P · Production and Pricing

See production turn into price, line by line.

FALIB®-P&P keeps the working numbers together: quantity, labor hours, cost, unit rate, and extended total. Estimators choose the columns that fit the work, while the FALIB® UUID preserves the connection to the job and its financial foundation.

Operational pricing intelligence

A production and pricing report that fits many kinds of work.

P&P is not limited to one trade. It can show production assumptions, labor hours, material yield, cost, unit rate, and extended value. As a result, the report can support construction, field service, maintenance, manufacturing, installation, repair, and other labor-intensive work.

P

Production visibility

Connect planned quantity and production output to the labor hours required to complete a work item.

$

Pricing visibility

Present cost, unit rate, and total in a consistent item-level view without exposing every underlying financial input.

R

Registered lineage

Use the FALIB® UUID to preserve where the report values originated and how the pricing record was created.

Interactive field demonstration

The estimator chooses a useful view.

Select fields below to preview how P&P can simplify or expand a production and pricing report. Available columns depend on the estimating area and the user’s permissions. The sample work packages are trade-neutral and illustrate report behavior only.

Access-controlled reporting

Show enough to explain the job without repeating the full financial build.

P&P is a dedicated production and pricing report. It does not need to reproduce every indirect-rate detail from FALIB®-Mr or FALIB®-Sr. Instead, the estimator can use approved columns to explain the work. FALIB®-Jr can provide the job-level financial context.

1

Choose the reporting detail

Use the available column controls to match the report to the estimate, customer, reviewer, or internal use case.

2

Use Jr for job-level economics

Authorized estimators can review the FALIB®-Jr for job-level cost and indirect-loaded financial results without opening every source-rate detail.

3

Keep the source build controlled

The detailed construction of indirects in FALIB®-Mr or FALIB®-Sr can remain limited to the roles that need it.

Continuous value lineage

Trace the numbers back to the record that created them.

A P&P line does more than show a unit rate. Its UUID keeps the production and pricing output connected to the estimate and its FALIB® financial foundation. Therefore, an authorized reviewer can follow the value trail without requiring every estimator to open the detailed Mr or Sr indirect-rate build.

The UUID does not replace the estimate or financial records. It provides the continuity that lets authorized reviewers connect the P&P output to the records behind it.

Estimator reporting controls

Choose the columns that fit the work and the reader.

BreakEven+ gives estimators a broad set of column controls across estimating, other direct costs, subcontractors, and time and materials. The estimator does not have to show every available field. Instead, the report can focus on the detail that supports the job, the pricing method, and the intended review.

Reporting principle: available does not mean required. P&P should show the columns that help explain the work. Jr can carry the job-level financial context, while detailed Mr or Sr indirect-rate construction can remain with authorized financial reviewers.

Production and pricing report FAQ

Common questions about P&P reporting.

Does P&P have to show every available field?

No. The estimator can use the approved column controls that fit the work and the intended reader. Unused columns can stay out of the generated report.

Can an estimator see job-level indirect costs without seeing the full Mr or Sr build?

Yes, when the role is authorized for FALIB®-Jr. Jr can show job-level financial and indirect-loaded results, while the detailed construction of the Mr or Sr indirect rates can remain restricted.

Does hiding a P&P column remove its source data?

No. Hiding a column changes the report presentation. It does not erase the originating estimate or break the UUID-linked reporting trail.

Why does the P&P report use a UUID?

The UUID keeps the P&P output connected to the financial foundation and estimating record that produced its values. This supports continuity, reconciliation, and authorized review.
